Carbon-Supported Noble-Metal Nanoparticles for Catalytic Applications—A Review

چکیده
Noble-metal nanoparticles (NMNPs), with their outstanding properties, have been arousing the interest of scientists for centuries. Although our knowledge them is much more significant today, and we can obtain NMNPs in various sizes, shapes, compositions, has not waned. When talking about noble metals, gold, silver, platinum come to mind first. Still, cannot forget elements belonging so-called group, such as ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, whose physical chemical properties are very similar those platinum. It makes highly demanded widely used applications. This review presents current on preparation all metals form assembling carbon supports. We focused catalytic applications these materials fuel-cell field. Furthermore, influence supporting electrocatalytic activity, stability, selectivity noble-metal-based catalysts discussed.
